- Delivering exceptional patient care, including wound management, removal of sutures and staples, performing ECG's, venepuncture, administering immunisations (routine, childhood and travel) and skilled in Woman's health (cervical Cytology, contraception).
- Develop and review audit protocols and process for the practice, effectively utilising the audit cycle.
- Develop, review and implement nursing protocols in conjuction with the partners.
- Support all members of the nursing team and providing guidance when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Effective time management.
- Ability to work as a team member and autonomously.
- Ability to record accurate clinical notes.
- Ability to work within own scope of practice and understanding when to refer to GP's.
- Knowledge of health promotion strategies.
