As part of this role, you will be responsible for supporting the home delivery of George.com orders through the management of our final mile parcel carriers. You will also support in managing shipments from our Drop Ship Vendors partners, who ship orders direct to customers and our Click & Collect Service.You will analyse and challenge Client, Home delivery Carriers, DSVs and client performance and adherence to SLAs as well as constantly reviewing how to improve service to our customers. There will also be the opportunity to get involved in some exciting new Click & Collect and Home Delivery development projects to further improve our customer’s experience.You will be part of a small team that works cross functionally with numerous stakeholders, from Clients, George.com, Contact Centre teams, Fulfilment Centres, Carriers to individual Drop Ship Vendors. You will take ownership of your own projects to onboard new 3rd party partners as well as leading key projects to improve delivery and C&C customer experience.WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
  • Managing our Clients, Drop Ship Vendors and Carriers to improve performance and ensure adherence to SLAs
  • Work with 3rd party providers to ensure we deliver a high level of service to our customers
  • Be the key contact between Clients, Fulfilment Centres and carriers, reviewing trailer collections, forecasts and resolving any operational issues
  • Support financial review of delivery spend vs budget, including querying invoices with providers
  • Working with George.com team to on-board any new DSVs
  • Work with the Service & Contact centre teams (including Exec teams) to resolve any business issues
  • Identify and implement new ways of working to improve current processes with Clients, Carriers and Drop Ship Vendors
  • Lead new development projects to launch new services and network improvements for customers and clients.
