We're recruiting for a Senior Estimator / Estimating & Infrastructure Manager to join our team in Cornwall. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in pre-construction, commercial strategy, and infrastructure delivery.In this role, you'll take the lead on cost planning, benchmarking, subcontractor procurement, and third-party coordination while driving value for money and ensuring projects hit their margin targets. You'll also act as a mentor, supporting and developing the next generation of commercial professionals.What You'll Be Doing
- Leading cost plans, estimates, benchmarking and cash flow forecasting.
- Overseeing COINS pre-con development, BoQ preparation and measurement software.
- Managing subcontract procurement for groundworks and infrastructure.
- Coordinating with banks, housing associations, and joint venture partners.
- Driving commercial insights, delivering margin, and supporting rental developments.
- Working on special projects, including VFM, prelims and aftercare.
- Acting as a mentor and training champion within the commercial team.
- Proven experience as an Estimator within construction or civil engineering.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure, groundworks, and cost management.
- Proficiency in COINS and measurement software.
- Excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative leader with the ability to mentor and guide others.
- A permanent, office-based role in Cornwall.
