Reference: BC4719We have a fantastic opportunity to work with a local company in Hemel Hempstead for at least the next 6 weeks on a temporary basis as an Operations Administrator.The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and ideally have some kind of experience of working within an office environment, with a real can-do attitude and willing to jump in and help where needed as this is quite a diverse role.The role will be split 50/50 – A large part of the role will be focussed on administration, working on processing order info, inputting data and working on invoices. The other part of the role will be slightly more hands-on, this company has a constant stream of packages and shipments that pass through the Hemel Hempstead office and you’d be placing labels onto them as they pass through and logging this on an Excel tracker.You’d typically be working a Monday to Friday and 9am to 5.30pm working pattern and as standard would be spending 3 days in the Hemel offices and 2 days working from home.This is very much a temporary position and will be paying an hourly rate of around £13.00 per hour and weekly pay every Friday.Please be aware that if successful, you would be required to go and spend the very first day of the role in their London based office to go for a HR induction, brief training and equipment handover and from day 2 onwards you’d be fully allocated to the Hemel Hempstead site.Duties:
  • Administration – Supporting with highly accurate data entry, processing of orders and invoices as well as running an Excel tracker/spreadsheet.
  • Hands-on work with shipments/packages and ensuring they are correctly labelled and then logged on the system.
Candidate requirements:
  • Excellent organisational abilities and written / oral communications skills.
  • Good MS package knowledge, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High attention to detail and extremely efficient.
  • Capable of dealing with a fast-paced environment, changing demands and tight deadlines.
  • Able to prioritise tasks.
  • Must be flexible, hardworking, have a 'can do' attitude and be forward thinking.
