The company believes in & prides itself in rewarding honesty, hard work, efficiency & creativity.Job Overview:This role offers a hands-on experience in on-site maintenance, spanning various technical specialties. You'll apply your expertise and coordinate with external specialists as needed. Tasked with a spectrum of duties, from electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to comprehensive site upkeep, you'll ensure seamless operations indoors and out, regardless of the season and weather.Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Execute routine maintenance for overall plant operations.
  • Manage and maintain an array of machinery, including small CNC routers, Co2 lasers, printing machinery, and compact power presses.
  • Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions, accurately diagnosing equipment issues.
  • Operate and maintain both single and three-phase electrical systems.
  • Conduct comprehensive maintenance of facilities, necessitating a broad skill set for equipment upkeep.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to scheduled timelines and uphold stringent safety protocols.
  • Apply industry best practices for the upkeep of equipment and facilities, adaptable to all weather conditions.
Person SpecificationExperience, Skills and KnowledgeEssential:
  • Proficiency in a broad spectrum of maintenance skills with a strong focus on industrial electrical work.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a maintenance engineering capacity.
  • A versatile and adaptable individual, ready to undertake a wide array of maintenance tasks.
  • In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations pertinent to manufacturing engineering environments.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Solid written and mathematical skills.
  • Fork Truck Driver Certificate.
Desirable:Able to use basic toolroom equipment, such as centre lathes and surface grinders.QualificationsEssential:HNC/ONC/NVQ or city & guilds qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Fork Truck Driver Certificate.Desirable:
18th Edition Certificate or equivalent.Additional requirements - Driving license due to locationFull-time Dayshift 39.5 hours/week. Overtime is available at premium rate over full time hours. Part-time (if preferred) 30-32 hours/week.
