At 135 metres the world-famous lastminute.com London Eye is the UK’s most popular paid for visitor attraction, and we’ve got our Eye out for a Ride Operator to join our dedicated team in delivering the most moving experience in London!As Ride Operator, you will ensure safe and efficient operation of the London Eye by controlling the wheel and its systems, monitoring guest throughputs and managing the boarding platform team. You will act as the role model for the Ride team, ensuring they are trained to remain guest focused at all times and comply with the highest standards of health and safety.This is a full-time, permanent position, working 5 days a week. Due to the nature of our attraction, you will be required to work bank holidays and weekends when required, so full flexibility is needed. Please note that as this is an outdoor attraction, you will be required to work outside.Qualifications & Experience:
  • Strong communication skills and comfortability dealing with stakeholders, duty managers and technicians
  • Background in Health and Safety
  • Prioritising customer service and ensuring our guests have the best experience
  • Ensure all team members adhere to departmental risk assessments, ensuring that all aspects of risk are minimised ensuring a safe environment for the guests and team.
  • Hold an understanding of people management as the Ride Operator will constantly be managing the team on top platform and will step up to help the Ride Shift Leaders.
