- Be prepared to work flexibly, adapting to different project types, timelines, and locations.
- Author comprehensive assessments of Landscape, Townscape, and Seascape Character, as well as Visual effects, both as standalone appraisals and for Environmental Impact Assessment Report chapters.
- Knowledge and understanding of other technical disciplines sufficient to enable constructive assessment and design collaboration.
- Plan and design mitigation and enhancement schemes that align with project goals and environmental standards.
- Lead and Innovate: Take the professional lead in landscape and visual assessment, guiding and mentoring staff through their professional development. Ensure the retention and growth of technical expertise within the team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation.
- Collaborate and Grow: Work closely with our Planning/EIA leads to expand our portfolio in differing sectors across the UK. Build on our stellar reputation for high-quality Planning, EIA, and Landscape services. This role involves driving the growth of our project pipeline, nurturing client relationships, managing resources, and ensuring the delivery of top-tier work through collaboration across Stephenson Halliday and the broader RSK Group.
- Inspire and Lead Technically: Provide technical leadership within your specialty, setting the standard for methodologies and approaches. Inspire your team by promoting excellence, encouraging rigorous review and innovation, and maintaining the highest quality standards.
