This role is ideal for a technically strong and proactive individual who thrives in high-pressure environments and is committed to maintaining the stability and performance of critical financial systems.Key Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day Level 2/3 support for Fixed Income (FI) trading and post-trade systems.Monitor and support critical FI production environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and front-office teams to identify and resolve issues quickly.Perform root cause analysis and provide long-term solutions to recurring problems.Support ION trading platform integrations and configurations.Maintain and improve automation tools and monitoring solutions.Participate in incident and change management processes in alignment with ITIL standards.QualificationsMust-Have Skills & Experience:Fixed Income (FI) domain expertise - strong understanding of FI trading workflows and products.Advanced knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and strong command-line skills.Proficiency in Linux systems administration, shell scripting, and system troubleshooting.Hands-on experience with the ION trading platform, including deployment, configuration, and support.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle critical incidents calmly and efficiently.Experience working in a production support environment within investment banking or financial services.Nice-to-Have:Experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.).Familiarity with messaging systems like MQ, Solace, or Kafka.Exposure to DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Git).Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
