Our client, based in Cardiff, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. As a vital member of the school community, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of young learners, supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth.The successful candidate will work alongside experienced teachers to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. You will assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, provide one-to-one support to students with diverse needs, and contribute to the overall smooth running of the classroom.To excel in this role, you should hold a minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) Education, or have experience working within an educational setting. A background in Education and at least 3 months of experience working inside a classroom, either in a Primary or Secondary school environment, is essential.Key responsibilities:
  • Assisting teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons
  • Providing individualised support to students with varying needs
  • Encouraging student participation and engagement in learning activities
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers
  • Maintaining a safe and positive classroom environment
  • Supporting the school's policies and procedures
