Responsibilities:
  • Support children, young people, and families through referrals
  • Part of the team duty rota
  • Conduct S47 visits and progress children's planning to Initial Child Protection and Public Law Outline
  • Handle some initial court work, with cases transferring to the SCP team after assessment
  • Work directly with children, young people and their families
  • Collaborate with external agencies and attend multi disciplinary meetings
To be considered for a role within the Assessment Team, ideally you will have:
  • BSc in Social Work or equivalent
  • Social Work England registration
  • At least 1 year of experience in children's social work
