About the role:We are seeking to recruit a Programme Coordinator to work within the Finance suite of programmes. The suite recruits approximately a third of all admitted Business School students each year and has a large international representation.What you would be doing:Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the coordination of effective and efficient administrative support to the Finance suite of programmes ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the modules throughout the academic year.Sharing our enthusiasm and ambition to deliver programmes of the highest quality, you will have proven experience of supporting a variety of stake-holders; of managing a demanding workload effectively and of responding flexibly to opportunities and challenges as they arise.Excellent time management, organisational and problem-solving skills are vital for this role, as is a strong customer focus and excellent attention to detail. You will demonstrate exemplary administration and IT skills. You must be a strong team player with the ability to use your own initiative and work with minimal supervision. You should have excellent communication skills and be comfortable balancing multiple deadlines and prioritising effectively. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a pro-active attitude and ability to juggle several tasks confidently. You should have experience working with MS Office and large amounts of data, as well as excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Previous experience of working in higher education is desirable but not essential.What we are looking for:
  • Degree / equivalent qualification or experience related to the work for this post
  • Experience of office administration
  • Demonstrable computer competency and preferably knowledgeable of the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) as well as the ability to learn new software systems
  • Interested in business/business education
  • Reliable and responsible with excellent time-keeping
  • Good personal organisation and effective time management skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative to deal with unforeseen problems and circumstances
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
