This role requires a dedicated Senior Procurement Officer to oversee and implement efficient purchasing strategies, within a not-for-profit setting, to maximise value for money and ensure project delivery for a range of goods, services and works for a substantial Estates portfolio.The Senior Procurement Officer will provide professional procurement support across a range of stakeholders for the procurement of goods, services and works. Responsible for detailed spend analyses to identify strategic opportunities that will improve value and apply best practice supplier relationship and contract management techniques.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for strategic sourcing in goods, services and works procurement
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement processes.
  • Conduct Tendering Process to achieve value in cost, value and quality
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
  • Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations.
  • Oversee supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to achieve sustainable deals.
  • Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
  • Assess, manage and mitigate risks.
  • Contribute to the team's objectives to ensure project delivery.
  • Manage suppliers' performance
  • Ensure procurement processes are streamlined and facilitate compliant procurement

  • A relevant professional qualification e.g. (MCIPS) or a relevant degree or;
