Salary: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-timeAre you an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher dedicated to inspiring students to achieve their full potential in reading, writing, and literature?GSL Education are seeking a passionate English Teacher to join a supportive school in Rotherham, S61. In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages, fostering students’ literacy skills, critical thinking, and love of the subject.Responsibilities as an English Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full academic potential.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
  • Support students’ development of literacy, comprehension, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the English curriculum.
Requirements for English Teacher:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Experience teaching English across Key Stages.
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to engage students of varying abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
