Hours of Work: Full-time (40 hrs per week, Monday–Friday)Overview:Hardman Grey Recruitment, on behalf of our client a well-established structural consultancy seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to deliver structural design across commercial, residential, industrial, and education sectors, handling projects up to £30-50 million in value.The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for:
- Delivering structural design and analysis using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
- Managing your own workload and supervising engineers/technicians
- Representing the company confidently in meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Producing accurate technical documentation and reports
- Ensuring project compliance, quality, and timely delivery
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
- BEng/MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with minimum 5 years’ postgraduate experience
- Chartered or working towards chartership (IStructE or ICE)
- Proficiency in structural design software and analysis skills across key materials
- Strong communication and project-management capabilities
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
