Vida Healthcare has several exciting opportunities for reliable, hardworking GP receptionists to join our experienced team, on a part or full-time basis. We have various positions and shifts available working anytime between 8am-6:30pm, split by morning and afternoon sessions and hours/days worked can be discussed at interview.Full training will be provided and you will be assigned a main base, however the position will be multi-site and it will be essential that the post-holder can cover all locations:
  • Gayton Road Health Centre
  • St Augustines Surgery
  • Hunstanton Medical Practice
  • Carole Brown Health Centre
Our GP receptionists help make a positive impact on our local community. You will be responsible for providing a high-quality service to patients, across our practices. You can expect to be mentored and supported by the organisation, whilst you are empowered to deliver care and support.You must be able to work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients.   • Maintain a professional and effective receptionist service to patients.
  • Provide telephone and face to face access for patients to book, cancel and check appointments as per the patients request and deal with customers in a calm and sympathetic manner, working at a continuously high pace under pressure to deliver high levels of accuracy.
  • Support patients who may have a problem or complaint.
  • Undertake basic prescription administration training, ensuring that queries are answered in the absence of prescription team colleagues.
  • Engage in customer service processes and follow policy to provide a high quality, internal and external service standard
  • Partake in any training indicated by the senior receptionist or upper management, as appropriate for personal and professional development.

Desirable
  • Previous experience using SystmOne.
