
Continuous Improvement Technician

- Champion health & safety through best practice, including LOTO and safety observations
- Deploy Lean tools like 5S, Standards & Centrelines, Defect Handling, and CIL (Clean, Inspect, Lubricate)
- Analyse production data to identify root causes of downtime and losses
- Build and implement ‘Loss Trees’ and action plans across model lines
- Lead waste-reduction initiatives tackling transport, motion, waiting, overproduction, defects, and more
- Deliver measurable gains in OEE, cost savings, quality, and efficiency
- Coach operational colleagues to build a CI culture and drive sustainable improvements
- C.I. experience in manufacturing or logistics (food or FMCG background ideal)
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
- Solid understanding of Lean tools and continuous improvement principles
- Able to coach, influence, and engage across different levels and teams
- Comfortable working autonomously, meeting deadlines, and supporting strategic site goals
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Passionate about progress—with a love for pets, too
