- Product Engineer position dealing with a high end manufactured rang of electrical products
- Assist with the development of new and existing products
- Carry out testing of product samples from manufacturers and overseas suppliers
- Establishing product specifications, writing product briefs, and determining applicable standards
- Establishing product and packaging labelling and marking requirements including packaging labels, product instruction leaflets and data sheets
- Collaborate with the Quality Team to investigate product problems, to report findings and manage product improvements with partner factories
- Produce product documentation, risk assessments and compliance reports
- Must have experience within Product Development or Product Design within the electromechanical industry
- Ideally will have dealt with a range of electrical products such as: Lighting, EV Chargers, Power Supplies
- Knowledge of electrical product application and electrical installation, including work practices on building sites would be of benefit
- Ideally will have experience liaising with global suppliers
- Ideally knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail
- IT Literate (Microsoft Office)
