Are you an experienced CAD Technician with an eye for detail and a flair for delivering excellence? Our client is a fast-growing construction and development company specialising in high-end residential refurbishments, bespoke commercial fit-outs, and new builds across London and the Home Counties. With a portfolio of beautifully complex projects, they’re now looking to expand their team with a talented CAD Technician to support their design and delivery functions.The RoleAs an in-house CAD Technician, you’ll collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to produce technically accurate drawings and details that align perfectly with design intent. You’ll be involved in everything from joinery and MEP schematics to final as-built documentation, playing a pivotal role in ensuring clarity, compliance, and quality across residential and commercial projects.Responsibilities
  • Create 2D drawings and detailed plans using AutoCAD
  • Revise and update drawings based on design input and site conditions
  • Provide joinery, MEP and general construction detailing
  • Maintain drawing registers and ensure documentation is up to date
  • Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a CAD role within construction or architecture
  • Strong background in residential and commercial projects
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is an advantage)
  • Skilled in reading architectural and structural drawings
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
