(Hybrid - 3/4 days per week onsite in Farnborough)Our client, a leading Managed Services provider, is seeking an experienced Cross Domain Engineer to support a large transformation programme, delivering a multi-tenant private cloud platform to replace complex legacy infrastructure. This role will involve a high level of automation, secure design patterns, and rapid deployment of customer business solutions.Key Responsibilities:
- Define and automate data flows for the IMPEX process
- Configure Assured Control Devices (ACDs) and cross-domain solutions
- Implement security best practices and compliance requirements for infrastructure environments
- Develop scripts to automate and manage infrastructure tasks
- Produce technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Experience creating low-level IT infrastructure designs
- In-depth Linux systems administration experience
- Strong scripting knowledge
- Knowledge of assured controls and data diodes (Desirable)
- Understanding of Security Best Practices / Secure by Design principles (Desirable)
- Experience with object/file storage deployments, backup/restore processes, and High Availability configurations (Desirable)
- Active SC clearance
