This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical skills-particularly in drainage and civil design-who's looking to work on a wide mix of meaningful, place-focused projects. You don't need to be a total all-rounder, but they are looking for someone who enjoys variety and has the curiosity and flexibility to get involved in different types of schemes beyond just highways.The Opportunity
·Lead civil engineering design on a range of regeneration, infrastructure and public realm projects.
·Focus on drainage, utilities, earthworks and integrated infrastructure-delivering schemes that are technically robust and environmentally conscious.
·Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including landscape architects, urban designers, transport planners and environmental specialists.
·Support junior engineers with day-to-day guidance and technical mentorship.
·Contribute to project delivery, client engagement and resourcing across multiple live schemes.
·Get involved in early-stage design thinking and concept development, not just delivery.What They're Looking For
·A Chartered or near-Chartered Civil Engineer (ICE / CIWEM / CIHT / IStructE or equivalent).
·Strong experience in civil infrastructure design, especially in drainage and utilities.
·Excellent software skills - Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroDrainage / Causeway Flow (or equivalent).
·Someone who thrives on variety and is open to working across different project types - town centre redevelopments, green infrastructure, urban infill, active travel etc.
·Good communicator - comfortable collaborating with in-house teams and external stakeholders.
