Job DescriptionThe salary for this role is £50,311 . Onsite working is expected for 3 days each week, however, we actively support requests for flexible working.This role can be based at any of the following sites; Culham, Oxfordshire.This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) , including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data.The RoleThe Tritium Fuel Cycle (TFC) division and Hydrogen 3 Advanced Technologies (H3AT) facility is leading the delivery of tritium lifecycle solutions for sustainable fusion energy, aiming to maximise the scientific and economic benefits as a result. In addition to delivering high-impact research and development programmes, TFC is also responsible for designing, delivering and operating cutting-edge tritium life cycle facilities. Furthermore, TFC seeks to develop productive collaborations and grow a community of experts through the sharing and assimilating of knowledge.The UKAEA-Eni H3AT Tritium Loop Facility is leading on the construction of the world’s largest and most advanced tritium fuel cycle facility and is focused on the delivery of tritium life cycle solutions for sustainable fusion energy.As the Document Control Manager you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of all H3AT Plant project documentation and lead on the creation, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of processes and procedures for document control. You'll ensure that processes are developed to align to industry best practice (ISO 19650 (BS1192) & 19001) and existing policy practice within UKAEA.You will work autonomously to continuously review and improve information exchange processes and make decisions which will increase efficiency, support business functions, adapt to change and consider future scalability of process. You'll engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide regular updates on documentation control, KPI’s and any risks associating from the information management of the project lifecycle including handover, close out and auditing.QualificationsEssential Requirements:
HND / higher-level apprenticeship or equivalent in a Business, Science, and/or Engineering-related discipline.
Extensive experience as a senior document controller with evidence of leading the development of document control systems and procedures.
Experienced in set up of a document management system; including but not limited to, folder structure, security settings, distribution matrices and workflows
Knowledgeable on ISO 19650 & 19001
Extensive experience of a document management system.
Excellent understanding of the principles of project controls,
Good knowledge of quality and legal obligations with respect to document control. Good understanding of the importance of audit trails for all project documentation through the lifecycle of the project.
