The RoleThe Health and Social Care Career Academy (HSCCA) is an initiative developed in partnership between Blackpool and The Fylde College and Blackpool Council and the NHS aimed at developing a pipeline of education and training solutions for the health and social care economy across the Fylde Coast.The vision for the HSCCA is to raise awareness and develop the profile of health and social care careers within a growing industry, enabling the provision of care that 'wraps around' the patient/client locally, with the aim of improving the health and wellbeing of the wider population. Led by a steering group of employers including the NHS, private care providers and the third sector, the Academy will help to facilitate the ambitions of the Sustainability and Transformation Partnership across both Lancashire and the Fylde Coast.Blackpool and The Fylde College and Blackpool Council are currently recruiting for this exciting venture looking for a full time Health and Social Care Career Academy Manager, someone that will be able to lead the HSCCA into the next phase, working with the stakeholders to develop a long-term strategic approach to ensuring the success of the Academy.We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role.
