Project Architect£40,000 - £45,000 Plus benefitsPermanentLeeds, Yorkshire and the HumberAn award-winning architectural practice in Leeds with over 40 years of design excellence is seeking a talented and motivated Project Architect to lead a diverse range of projects in the Residential and Education sectors.Based in a vibrant, modern studio in North Leeds (LS20), this established practice is home to a collaborative team of 40+ Architects and Technologists. Their reputation for creating sustainable and striking design solutions has made them a trusted name across multiple sectors including Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Leisure and Education.Due to continued project wins and a strong pipeline of work, they are now looking to expand their team with a skilled Project Architect who is confident running projects from concept to completion.What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Leading the design and delivery of projects within the Residential (including social and private housing, extra care and care homes) and Education sectors.
  • Managing all RIBA stages from concept design through to on-site delivery.
  • Coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure projects meet design, budget and time expectations.
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the collaborative studio culture.
What We’re Looking For:
  • ARB registered Project Architect with 4–5 years' post-Part III experience as a minimum.
  • Proven experience running projects independently.
  • Strong portfolio across Residential, Education or related sectors (Commercial, Industrial, Leisure experience is a bonus).
  • Excellent design and technical detailing ability.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop; Revit experience highly desirable.
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and leadership skills.
  • Ability to produce feasibility studies, assess site viability, and develop creative yet practical design solutions.
