A highly regarded and well-established law firm is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its Newark office. This role offers the opportunity to handle a varied caseload, deliver excellent client service, and work within a supportive and professional team environment.The Role
You will be responsible for managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to post-completion. The role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a proactive approach to generating and maintaining business relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactionsGenerate new business and convert quotations into instructionsPrepare and carry out property searchesLiaise with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the processProduce standard contract documentationIdentify and follow up on cross-selling opportunities for other legal servicesHandle enquiries, exchanges, completions, and all post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Companies House filingsMaintain accurate records and comply with case management workflows and quality standardsKeep up to date with changes in conveyancing law and best practiceMeet agreed fee income targets and objectivesPerson SpecificationEssentialExperienced Conveyancer with a proven track record in residential property transactionsStrong understanding of the conveyancing process, Money Laundering Regulations, and Solicitors Accounts RulesConfident managing a busy caseload independentlyIT literate with experience using case management systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational and time-management abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure and as part of a teamDesirableLegal Executive or Solicitor qualificationExperience using Visual Files and/or SOS Connect case management softwareBenefits
