Fantastic opportunity for a confident nanny who enjoys working with school aged children - sole charge positionJob Summary:We are seeking a calm, professional and engaging daily nanny to join a welcoming family of five in Highgate, North London, caring for three school aged children - an 8 year old girl, a 10 year old boy, and a 12 year old girl.This is a sole charge position, though parents do work from home part of the week - the nanny must be comfortable with this arrangement and able to take full initiative in managing the children's routines.A confident driver is required for this role to drive the children to afterschool activities, playdates etc.Job specification:
  • School pick-ups (20 minute walk or 5 minute drive)
  • Afternoon care: engaging activities, supervising homework, and overseeing bath/bed routines
  • Preparing children’s school bags and uniforms for the next day
  • Taking children to playdates and after school activities
  • Cooking healthy, child friendly meals (when the housekeeper is not on duty)
  • Keeping children's bedrooms and common areas clean, tidy and organised
Candidate specification:
  • Has prior nanny experience and ideally a background in childcare education
  • Calm, warm, and confident in managing the needs of older children
  • Firm but fair with boundaries - particularly with active, sporty 10 year old boy
  • Engaging and able to connect with children through play, conversation, and activities
  • Confident cook who enjoys preparing simple, healthy meals
  • Comfortable working alongside parents who occasionally work from home
  • A driver with a clean licence - a car is provided for work use (automatic)
