💼 Sector: Facilities Management / Engineering ServicesWates Property Services is seeking a dedicated Resident Engineer to join our team delivering hard FM services for a prestigious JLL-managed site in Kingston Upon Thames. This is a hands-on role ideal for a proactive and customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.🌟 Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site, ensuring minimal disruption to building users.
  • Respond promptly to helpdesk requests and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Liaise with site stakeholders and the Technical Supervisor to maintain high service standards.
  • Support sustainability and energy-saving initiatives in line with JLL’s ESG goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
👤 What We’re Looking For:Essential:
  • Experience in delivering hard M&E services in a commercial or corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of building services and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
  • Experience with CAFM systems (e.g., Concept).
  • Health & Safety training (IOSH or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with sustainability technologies and ESG practices.
🎓 Qualifications:
  • Trade-related qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
  • 18th Edition (for electrical candidates).
  • Asbestos Awareness or Duty to Manage certification.
