Our client is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Officer to join their team and play a vital role in protecting and supporting their people.Monday - Friday - Dungannon - PermanentYour RoleAs a Health & Safety Officer, you'll be instrumental in ensuring health and safety policies not only comply with legal requirements but also foster a culture of well-being across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:Providing expert advice and support to managers, supervisors, and staff on all health & safety matters.Carrying out risk assessments, workplace inspections, and incident investigations, ensuring timely corrective actions.Leading internal audits and supporting external compliance audits.Developing and implementing health & safety policies in line with current legislation.Delivering internal training sessions and coordinating external training providers.Preparing reports and maintaining accurate H&S records and documentation.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for a confident, detail-oriented professional with a proactive approach and a passion for maintaining high safety standards.Essential:NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).Relevant training qualification.3-5 years of experience in a similar role or strong demonstrable knowledge of H&S practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Full driving licence and access to transport.Able to work independently and collaboratively.Flexibility to adjust working hours based on business needs.Desirable:Degree in a related field.Experience in the food manufacturing or processing industry.From sending my CV to being placed in the role Chanel was great.
