- Actively monitor and track learners' progress and attendance.
- Ensure lessons promote equality, diversity, inclusion, and British values.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Maths curriculum.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and practices to ensure learners' safety and well-being at all times.
- Proven experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills Maths with measurable results.
- Excellent classroom management and learner engagement skills.
- Strong subject knowledge and effective communication abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A UK teaching qualification (e.g., DET, DTTLS, PGCE).
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners.
