We are passionate about inspiring and developing individuals' skills through education in a supportive, inclusive, and creative environment.The RoleWe are seeking a motivated Maths Teacher to join our English and Maths team on a part-time basis. You will deliver GCSE and Functional Skills Maths programmes to small, dynamic cohorts, helping learners achieve their academic goals while building confidence in numeracy. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in learners' lives.Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons tailored to GCSE and Functional Skills learners.
  • Develop innovative teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Actively monitor and track learners' progress and attendance.
  • Ensure lessons promote equality, diversity, inclusion, and British values.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Maths curriculum.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and practices to ensure learners' safety and well-being at all times.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills Maths with measurable results.
  • Excellent classroom management and learner engagement skills.
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A UK teaching qualification (e.g., DET, DTTLS, PGCE).
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners.
