We are recruiting for a Nursery Teaching Assistant in High Wycombe to join a dedicated and dynamic team within a specialist provision supporting children and young people aged 7-19 with autism and significant cognitive learning difficulties.This unique setting provides a nurturing, low-stimulus environment designed to meet the complex needs of its learners. As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering tailored support to pupils working at an early years developmental level, regardless of their chronological age.The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in a nursery environment or within a specialist SEN provision
- Be confident supporting children with autism and additional learning needs
- Demonstrate empathy, adaptability, and a child-centred approach
- Be committed to helping learners overcome barriers to learning and communication
