- Handle incoming calls and face-to-face queries promptly and politely, maintaining accurate records.
- Operate and maintain bleep, radio paging, ID cards, keys, and on-call information systems.
- Distribute calls, tasks, and reports effectively, ensuring all are completed in line with Trust and company procedures.
- Follow emergency procedures for major incidents, fire, bomb alerts, and medical emergencies.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance with data protection, health, safety, and company policies.
- Attend meetings, training, and reviews, identifying personal development needs.
- Report faults, defects, or safety concerns promptly and undertake other reasonable duties as required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with patients, staff, and members of the public.
- Professional, polite, and approachable manner at all times.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, particularly in emergency situations.
- Basic IT literacy and ability to operate telephony and paging systems (training will be provided).
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and undertake a range of duties as required.
