  • Presentation creation: develop and refine clear and articulate client offerings, including outstanding market analyses
  • Develop and refine financial models for the evaluation of certain securities transactions
  • Project management: assist in structuring and placing catastrophe bonds or other insurance securitizations
  • Transaction documentation review
  • Support cross functional strategic projects and represent Aon Securities as a reliable partner and constant innovator in industry meetings, conferences and client presentations
  • Maintain a comprehensive view of the market to educate and liaise with Aon colleagues and potential clients
  • Maintain market database information and create tools to communicate Aon’s market views
  • Develop deep knowledge of the overall insurance and reinsurance industry.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • 2 to 5 years insurance linked securities, property reinsurance and / or debt capital markets experience
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, analytics, math and statistics
  • Ability to flourish in a small, high pressure and intense work environment
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint is required, and experience with stochastic modelling concepts and output is preferred
  • Experience manipulating and representing data sets
  • Knowledge of and interest in the (re)insurance market, capital markets and understanding of the concepts and trends in the global financial markets
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, ability to write and deliver clear, concise and coherent presentations and written responses to Requests for Proposals
