With a huge 30 ramp workshop and located in the Mercedes-Benz World brand centre, this is a unique and special place to work.Overview of the Systems Vehicle Technician RoleIn the pivotal role of a Systems Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a range of Mercedes-Benz vehicles.Key Responsibilities for a Systems Vehicle Technician
  • Conduct diagnostics and repairs on Mercedes-Benz vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, and hybrid systems.
  • Perform routine vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Utilise diagnostic equipment and software to identify and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
  • Ensure all work complies with Mercedes-Benz quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Collaborate with service advisors and customer service teams to provide detailed service reports and recommendations.
  • Stay updated with the latest technical developments and advancements in vehicle systems.
Essential Qualities for the Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will showcase strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Essential skills and attributes include:
  • Certification in automotive technology or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or higher).
  • Proven experience with vehicle systems diagnostics and repairs, preferably within a premium brand environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work on multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, providing clear and precise information to both colleagues and customers.
  • A proactive and committed approach to automotive excellence and customer service.
