Candidates must have a degree in:
- Education, Early Years, Childhood Studies, Children and Young People, Education Studies OR similar degree related to early years education
- A degree that is 2:2 or higher
- A genuine passion for supporting young children in their learning and development
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build nurturing relationships
- An empathetic, caring and resilient nature
- An interest in progressing into teacher training or Early Years specialism in the future
- Some experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
- Support the learning and development of children in Nursery and Reception
- Deliver 1:1 and small group support in areas such as phonics, early writing and numeracy
- Provide empathetic care and help children build confidence and independence
- Prepare engaging resources and assist with creative, play-based learning activities
- Support with classroom routines, organisation, and behaviour management
- Work closely with experienced Early Years teachers and observe outstanding practice
- Build your confidence in delivering learning activities and supporting young learners
- Contribute to a creative, play-based environment where children feel safe, supported and inspired
- Gain invaluable experience working across the EYFS, preparing you for future teacher training or postgraduate study
