- Evidence of post graduate training in specialist clinical area
- Have an understanding of developments within the NHS and the Trust, and their implication on Occupational Therapy
- Knowledge of evidence based practice
- Other responsibilities e.g. HASAW rep, trade union rep/steward
- Clinical experience at band 5 in core areas of respiratory, musculoskeletal, neurology and orthopaedics
- Demonstrates the ability to teach, guide and direct therapy assistants and students in clinical practice
- Flexible working to meet the need of the service
- Able to delegate appropriately
- Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate, both written and orally, in a good clear and logical manner including good standard of documentation in application
- Demonstrates evidence of clinical reasoning in the management of patient care
- Demonstrates evidence of the ability to use reflective practice as a tools for growth and development
- Evidence of self-directed learning
- Demonstrate understanding of the governance framework and relevance to clinical practice
- Able to work as an autonomous practitioner in a defined clinical read and support others
- Evidence of participation and willingness to work in a weekend and

- Management experience of a team

- To have the physical ability to carry out the necessary therapeutic handling and highly developed dexterity and coordination for assessment and manual treatments
