We'd love to hear from you!Main duties of the jobThis is a senior therapy post requiring significant post graduate experience.The post holder will be responsible for rapid response, advanced assessment & treatment of complex and /or chronic presentations and will provide highly specialist advice for patients within the hospital and community setting and teaching and training to therapy colleagues working in other clinical areas, and members of the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will be responsible for supervision and training of other therapy staff including rotational band 5 staff, Therapy assistants and students.The post holder will also undertake a co-ordinating role in the delivery of the therapy service within their specific clinical area on a day-to-day basis and this will include the provision of a 7-day therapy service in our clinical specialities.About usAt the Dudley Group our patients and staff are at the heart of all that we do and that is to provide a world class service that aligns with our vision of "excellent health care, improved health for all".   • Have an understanding of developments within the NHS and the Trust, and their implication on Occupational Therapy
  • Knowledge of evidence based practice

  • Clinical experience at band 5 in core areas of respiratory, musculoskeletal, neurology and orthopaedics
