Pay Rate: £83 – £95 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-timeAre you a patient, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual looking to make a positive difference in the lives of young learners?GSL Education are currently seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming school in Chapeltown. As a TA, you will support teachers in delivering lessons, assist pupils with their learning, and help foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Your role will be essential in promoting pupils’ development, confidence, and engagement across the curriculum.Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
  • Support pupils individually and in small groups to aid their learning.
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, nurturing classroom.
  • Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs.
  • Support pupils’ social and emotional development.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
  • Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning needs.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
