Someone who gets culture, loves storytelling, and can make content that actually stops the scroll.💼 About the RoleNow, we’re looking for a performance focused Content Creator to join our newly established Growth team. This isn’t just a “make pretty content” role. This is to create content that wins, content that converts, that drives growth, that sets the pace others follow. If you live and breathe TikTok/Reels/Meta, love testing ideas fast, and want your work to directly fuel the growth of one of the UK’s most exciting food brands, this is it.You’ll report to the Growth Lead- Digital Marketing but work super closely with our brand team and founder. Your job: ideate from scratch and turn it into scroll-stopping, thumb-stopping, converting content.✨ In short: this is a role for creators who want their work to matter. If you’re restless, hungry, and obsessed with making content that grows brands, you’ll thrive at Simmer.🔥 What You'll Own
  • End-to-end content production: from concept to post, scripting and planning social-first ideas that convert (especially paid UGC-style content for Meta and TikTok).
  • Scriptwriting: Writing compelling, performance-minded scripts that tap into emotion, relatability, and attention psychology; you’ll learn the true Simmer way of writing scripts and be able to elevate them.
  • Trend hunting and idea generation: Constantly be researching - finding new ad formats and concepts then turning them around into your own winning ad creatives.
  • Running shoots: sourcing talent, booking locations, building shot lists, and running a smooth day on set - even stepping in front of camera when needed.
  • Editing with intent: Edit content for paid and organic channels, turning raw footage into sharp, high-performing assets with strong hooks, pacing, and CTA structure.
  • Collaborating: work closely with the Social Media Manager to turn insights into action and ensure content aligns with what’s trending or performing.
  • Leveling up systems: Work with editors, videographers, and performance teams to elevate concepts and absorb feedback that sharpens your creative instincts - bring new ideas to ways of working, systems and processes if you see a gap or feel there’s a better, more efficient way.
  • Performance tracking and iteration: across campaigns and iterate on what’s working - from angles to edits to scripts, and be hungry to search out this information and insight.
  • Supporting across storytelling formats: Help bring branded content, founder content, and community-facing storytelling to life - from lo-fi to hero.
😊 What You Bring
  • 2+ years creating performance-led short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Meta) with a portfolio of ads that drove results.
  • Obsessed with social storytelling - you know how to grab attention and turn it into action.
  • Comfortable scripting, shooting, editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut, in-platform or similar).
  • Always-on trend awareness - you live on social media and know what’s cutting through today.
  • A self-starter who thrives on moving fast, from zero brief to first cut without hand-holding.
  • Performance mindset: you care about data, want to see results, and iterate for the next win.
  • Collaborative and confident: able to direct talent/founders or jump on camera yourself.
  • Hungry to grow: this is a role where impact gets rewarded (including performance-based pay).
