- oSignificant experience in an acute care setting (eg ED, CCU, ITU, Theatres)
- oTeaching qualification or relevant experience
- oAdvanced Life Support (APLS / EPALS) Provider
- oEvidence of post-basic study
- oExperience of care of other patient age-groups, eg adults or newborns
- oDemonstrable interest or involvement in resuscitation related issues
- oAPLS / EPALS Instructor or nomination of instructor potential from provider course
- oGIC-certified Instructor in any accredited resuscitation course
- oDegree level studies
- oQualified Mentor
- oKnowledge of RCUK guidelines and quality standards
- oLocal and National issues affecting resuscitation and health care
- oNMC/HCPC standards and requirements
- oInterest/experience or specialist knowledge in key subject areas of resuscitation ( eg prehospital care, critical care, anaesthesia, emergency care)
- oExtensive post qualification experience in an acute care setting
- oEvidence of Clinical leadership skills
- oExperience of supporting learners
- oPortfolio of evidence demonstrating clinical / educational achievements
- oBasic IT skills
- oUndertaken a leadership programme
- oImplementation of change or service development
- oExperience of clinical audit or research
- oPrevious experience working in a Resuscitation Service
- oInvolvement in simulation practice
- oReport writing
