
Environmental Technician

- Responding to environmental incidents in both commercial and rural settings
- Carrying out contaminated land investigations and developing remediation strategies
- Conducting environmental monitoring and sampling of soil, water, and air
- Preparing clear and concise technical reports for clients
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to provide effective technical responses
- Supporting health & safety best practice through risk assessments and on-site management
- Managing waste and ensuring full Duty of Care compliance
- Maintaining equipment and managing stock levels
- Incident response and occasional stay-aways as required
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Confident working independently and remotely
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Proactive and practical approach to problem-solving
- Competent with Microsoft Office and general IT systems
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Must be based within the Midlands or within one hour’s drive
- Experience in managing domestic oil spill investigations
- CSCS Card (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid qualification
- Full training in industry-leading remediation techniques, including in-house solutions
