The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating CNC machinery. This role is crucial for ensuring precision in the manufacturing process, and the successful applicant will be responsible for producing high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards.What are the benefits?

Day to Day Duties
  • Programme CNC milling machines and lathes to produce parts according to specifications.
  • Assemble components using hand tools and machinery, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments.
  • Collaborate with team members in the warehouse for materials handling and inventory management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling and machine operation.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and machinery.
  • Familiarity with logic controllers and basic maths for measurement calculations.
  • Experience with welding techniques is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Previous experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting is beneficial.
Training
  • Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
