- Leading the planning, execution and handover of electronic security systems, CCTV, intruder detection, and associated network infrastructure.
- Providing technical leadership and engineering oversight, ensuring designs meet standards, regulations, and cyber security requirements.
- Managing budgets, tracking financial performance, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, safely, and to specification.
- Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders (Operations, IT, Asset Management) and managing external suppliers and contractors.
- Upholding Thames Water’s high standards of safety, quality and compliance across all project activities.
- Extensive experience in project engineering or project management in Operational Technology or Electronic Security Systems, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, or Control Systems (or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder detection) and OT cyber security principles.
- Experience managing stakeholders at all levels, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to problem solve, make balanced decisions, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in the use of IT systems for report writing and collating information and data into reports.
- Technical understanding of the Genetec security product.
- Full UK driving licence is a requirement for this role.
- Knowledge of the water/utilities sector or similar regulated industry.
- Project management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, APM).
- Experience managing project budgets and supplier performance.
- Experience of customer (internal & external) relationship management.
- Competitive salary up to £63,000 per annum, depending on experience
