A great opportunity for an aspiring Production leader to build a career in a large W. Yorkshire based manufacturing organisation.As Production Manager you will report into the Senior Operations Manager and be responsible for a team of approximately 40 staff, including two Front Line Managers. This role is days based and would work alongside the Production Manager for the Assembly department.You will be responsible for:
  • Managing and leading your team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance.
  • Ensuring that daily production targets and schedules are met while maintaining quality standards, collaborating with the Quality Assurance (QA) team.
  • Promoting and enforcing health and safety practices to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Optimising production by supporting continuous improvement (CI) initiatives through monitoring and managing resources - including materials, people, and equipment
