The Nuclear Medicine service is within the Clinical Sciences care group at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. NUH is the fourth largest acute teaching trust in the UK. The Trust provides a range of regional specialist services and remains at the forefront of clinical research.The Nuclear Medicine service runs on both the City Hospital and Queen's Medical Centre Campuses and is equipped with 3 GE Discovery scanners and a GE Aurora scanner. The service performs a full range of Nuclear Medicine investigations for various specialities within the Trust, has a radiopharmacy unit at QMC and supports research studies.We are seeking to appoint an experienced Nuclear Medicine operator (technologist/radiographer) who will work rotationally at both campuses to deliver the Nuclear Medicine clinical service. This will include day-to-day supervision of the gamma cameras; participation in all technical aspects of the full range of imaging and non-imaging tests including administration of radiopharmaceuticals; participation in non-patient contact support roles.The post is a full time role, but part time would be considered.
