We’re looking for a commercially focused and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to join our Next Account Team. This role is all about taking ownership of the end-to-end client experience, from solution design and onboarding to operational development, strategic planning and performance management. You’ll become fully immersed in the client’s business, acting as a trusted advisor and partner across multiple workstreams, while also identifying opportunities for growth, innovation and operational improvement.You’ll join a supportive, high-performing team in a fast-paced environment, with a fantastic opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced talent in the industry.This is a great time to be joining us!   • Lead the day-to-day management of a key account within our Next team portfolio
  • Build strong, multi-level stakeholder relationships internally and externally — right up to C-suite level
  • Manage all touchpoints including WBRs, MBRs, QBRs, performance reviews, invoicing, data reporting and client communication
  • Drive service performance through deep understanding of the Evri operational model
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities across customer journey, claims, product adoption and service delivery
  • Maintain robust contract oversight, manage budgets and support cash-flow optimisation
  • Use performance data and trend analysis to guide strategic decision-making and unlock growth
  • Lead and support a range of client-facing projects - including joint initiatives with partner brand owners
  • Support Share of Wallet growth through insight-led volume wins, rate reviews and proactive issue resolution
  • Act as the voice of the customer across internal teams including Operations, Customer Service, Claims, and Finance

  • Full UK Driving Licence (this role involves travel and occasional out-of-hours flexibility)
  • Degree or sales/account management qualifications are a bonus, but not essential
  • Experience in key account or customer relationship management — preferably in parcel, eCommerce, logistics or retail
  • Strong commercial awareness with knowledge of P&L, cost control and budgeting
  • Confident in leading high-level client conversations and negotiations
  • Able to produce and present compelling data-led proposals and performance reviews
  • Understanding of the B2C retail/eCommerce customer journey and operational delivery models
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to analyse and explain operational solutions clearly and effectively
  • Able to challenge constructively and influence decisions at all levels
  • Commercially minded, customer-centric, and always seeking to add value
