- Maintain and operate electrical systems including isolations, distribution boards, and lighting.
- Conduct planned, reactive, and corrective maintenance across all campuses.
- Support subcontractor compliance with statutory regulations and QMUL standards.
- Assist with asset register updates, SOP/EOP documentation, and project alignment.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, contributing to compliance and resilience activities.
- Maintain and operate mechanical systems such as AHUs, boilers, chilled water, and gas.
- Deliver planned, reactive, and corrective maintenance with a focus on energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and subcontractors to ensure high service standards.
- Support documentation and asset management for operational continuity.
- Participate in incident response, training, and technical assessments.
- Perform fabric maintenance including doors, windows, painting, roofing, and carpentry.
- Carry out general plumbing, furniture repairs, and basic handyman duties.
- Ensure compliance and quality during subcontractor visits and project works.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support estate-wide operational updates.
- Respond to emergencies and contribute to health and safety inspections and reviews.
- Relevant City & Guilds Qualification
- Split Days (Any Trade) – 40 hrs/week (07:00–16:00 or 10:00–19:00 rotating, Mon–Fri + 1 in 5 standby)
- Salary: £45,101
- Night Shift (Any Trade) – 42 hrs/week (4 on, 4 off, 12-hour nights only, includes weekends/public holidays)
- Salary: £47,356, Shift Allowance: £4,109.78 p.a.
