(Overtime available at enhanced rates)We are working with a leading hire company in Warrington who are looking for a skilled Lifting Equipment Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fitter looking for stability, development and long-term prospects.Lifting Equipment Engineer Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service and repair a wide range of lifting equipment, from shackles and slings to material lifts and aluminium gantries.
- Carry out inspections, tagging, and update service records accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of products and accessories within the fleet.
- Complete test certificates and associated compliance paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with customer Health & Safety procedures when working on site.
- Keep workshop and company vehicle (if provided) clean, tidy and well-organised.
- Support the wider team with general workshop duties when required.
- Proven experience as a mechanical fitter or service engineer.
- Recognised mechanical qualification or time-served background.
- LEEA and LOLER qualifications (desirable).
- Full UK driving licence (essential for field-based roles, advantageous for workshop-based).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- £30,000 basic salary.
- Monday–Friday working week.
