Duration: Long-term (Temp to Perm)Reeson Education is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant EYFS setting in a mainstream primary school in the M11 area. This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role is available from September 2025 and offers an exciting opportunity to work in nursery or reception with a high-quality, experienced EYFS team.The ideal Teaching Assistant will have essential EYFS experience in a school setting and preferably hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. This Teaching Assistant role involves supporting early years children's learning and development within a provision equipped with excellent resources.Teaching Assistant - What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting nursery or reception children as a Teaching Assistant
- Working closely with the EYFS team to deliver high-quality learning experiences
- Assisting with early communication, literacy, numeracy, and play-based learning activities
- Helping create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for all children
- Supporting children's social and emotional development as a Teaching Assistant
- Encouraging independence and confidence within the EYFS setting
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff to meet individual pupil needs
- Monitoring progress and reporting observations when required
- Supporting transitions and routines as a consistent Teaching Assistant presence
- Maintaining excellent standards of health and safety in the classroom
- Experience working in EYFS within a mainstream primary school - essential
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification - preferred
- Passion for early years education and child development
- Friendly, patient, and supportive approach as a Teaching Assistant
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Full-time availability from September 2025
