We’re working with a well-established specialist school in the Newcastle area that caters exclusively to children and young people aged 3 to 19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).This outstanding provision operates across multiple sites and offers a supportive, structured environment with a focus on communication, emotional regulation, and preparing pupils for adulthood. The school is part of a respected trust and has recently been rated Good by Ofsted.We are looking for a dedicated and flexible part-time Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet individual EHCP outcomes and support sensory and communication needsFoster a safe, predictable, and supportive classroom environmentWork collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral teamsUse a range of autism-specific strategies (such as PECS, TEACCH, or SCERTS)Track and celebrate progress across academic, emotional, and life skillsWho we’re looking for:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)E
