Solicitor - Childcare - Solihull

• An experienced childcare solicitor is required to undertake all aspects of the role including case management of care and related proceedings and advocacy in the Birmingham Family Court. Previous experience of working within a local authority legal team and handling a busy caseload.
• The team works primarily remotely, but candidates will be expected to attend the Birmingham Family Court and undertake advocacy in person as and when their caseload requires this.
• There may also be a requirement to attend our offices, and/or client offices in Solihull from time to time.
• We are looking for candidates experienced in dealing with public law childcare proceedings.
• We only want to consider candidates with advocacy experience, and who are willing and able to attend Court as and when required.
• Qualified to practice in England or Wales as a Solicitor or Barrister, or a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives or a part-qualified Legal Executive who can evidence that they will have finalised their qualification within 6 months of commencing employment
