Key responsibilities:
  • Drive Class 1 HGV container vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Collect containers from Southampton Docks and deliver them to scheduled locations
  • Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness
  • Complete all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately
  • Communicate effectively with the transport team and clients to ensure smooth operations
  • Adhere strictly to all road safety and company policies
Assist with other duties as required to support the teamRequirements:
  • Valid Class 1 HGV licence with CPC and digital tachograph card
  • Proven experience driving container vehicles or similar HGV roles
  • Knowledge of UK road regulations and health & safety standards
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude
