You'll help them understand the fundamentals and practical aspects of trading and prepare them for career success.The Junior Trading Mentor's function is to provide continual help and advice with the use of more senior team members on all LAT courses, both online and on campus. Most student interaction is one-on-one but may also involve small groups. Junior Trading Mentors are also required to help the Lecturers deliver academic and practical tuition to students. Detailed knowledge of the LAT course content is required, plus a good understanding of technical & fundamental trading techniques, trading psychology and risk management.RequirementsThe ideal candidate:As a Junior Trading Mentor, you will support one of our exciting brands: LAT. As a mentor, one of your primary responsibilities would be to support disengaged young people on various caseloads. This may involve building a rapport with them, getting to know their strengths and weaknesses, and identifying any barriers preventing them from engaging in education, employment, or training. You would need to provide various support and signposting to assist participants on their journey into sustainable education, employment, or training. This might include helping them to identify their career goals, providing guidance on job search strategies, assisting with CV writing and job applications, and connecting them with training opportunities.Additionally, the role holder must be patient, empathetic, and a good listener. You must build trust and maintain confidentiality while working with your mentees.
